IndvsNZ 3rd T20I: Shubhman's Dazzling Century Helps India to thump Kiwis Down by 168-Runs.
IndvsNZ :- India Defeats New Zealand by 168 runs .The Young gun from Punjab scored his maiden T20I hundred in just 54 balls, played a crucial innings of 126*(63 balls) in the series decider and was adjudged Player of the match. Indian skipper Hardik Pandya was adjudged man of the series.

It was an absolute treat for the ICT fans when India squared against New Zealand in IndvsNz 3rd T20I in Ahmedabad. In what was, turning out to be a lackluster T20I series, a massive turn of events unfolded today. Men in Blue not only crushed the kiwis by a 168-run margin but the way the Indian team stepped up today and delivered a commendable performance, it was the buzz of the town.
After winning the toss, Skipper Hardik Pandya had no second thoughts about his decision to bat first. The batsmen left no stone unturned to prove their skipper’s decision. The phenomenal innings of the man, who is in the form of his life, Shubhman Gill helped India to post a mammoth score of 234 on the board. The young lad bought up his maiden T20I century. With such performances he keeps proving why he is deemed so high.
Chasing a massive target of 235 runs, the kiwis succumbed to the scoreboard pressure. The openers couldn’t provide a flyer of a start, and the New Zealand kept losing wickets at regular intervals and eventually were bundled out for just 66 runs.
IndvsNZ :- Indian Batters Set Up The Tone
Having won the toss, Captain Hardik Pandya opted to Bat first. Young, dynamic openers Shubhman Gill and Ishan Kishan walked out in the middle. The latter’s woes against the spin continued as he got struck on the front foot around off stump and was adjudged LBW out after scoring just 1 run.
But this was just the beginning of the night for his partner at the other end, Shubhman, who has been in tremendous form in the ODIs, bought his much-awaited A-game in the T20Is as well. The dazzling batter played an anchoring role and kept the scoreboard ticking with Rahul Tripathi (44 runs, 22 balls).
The youngster bought up his maiden T20I fifty in just 35 deliveries. Once Tripathi departed after handing a catch to Ferguson at deep backward square leg, the dashing opener stitched another 38-run partnership with T20I sensation Suryakumar Yadav, who failed to score big today but ended up playing a short-entertaining knock. With skipper Pandya on the other end, Gill switched his gears quickly. The duo stitched a 103-run stand in no time, with the latter doing the bulk of the scoring. Shubhman bought up his maiden century in just 54 deliveries by hitting a boundary over the extra cover.
IndvsNZ : Shubhman brings up his second fifty in just 19 Balls
The Young gun from Punjab bought up his maiden T20I fifty in just 35 deliveries, but what followed after was, a mind-blowing stuff. It took him just 19 deliveries to score his maiden T20I century after scoring his maiden T20I fifty. In his knock of 126* runs, Gill hit 12 glorious boundaries and 7 huge sixes. Shubhman made sure that the ball traveled all around the park.

IndvsNZ : After Batters, Bowlers step up
Leading from the front, Skipper Hardik Pandya picked up the wicket of the kiwi opener Finn Allen. He banged in a short delivery that took the inside edge and went straight onto the stumps. Following a successful first over , Indian left arm pacer Arshdeep Singh picked up two wickets in the very second over of the kiwi innings. The wickets kept tumbling until, the kiwis were brought down to 7 runs for 4 wickets. It was Daryl Mitchell (35 runs) who hit few lusty blows to take his team’s total past 50 run mark. After a poor game with the ball in the IndvsNZ 1st T20I, the bowlers made a great comeback in the remaining two matches.

INDIA now moves from T20s to Tests :
With a win over the kiwis in Ahmedabad, this Bi-lateral series came to an end. Now India, shifts its attention from the shortest format of the game to the longest format, against the mighty Aussies.
India is scheduked to Play 4 tests in Border-Gavaskar trophy, with the first one beginning on 9th February in Nagpur. The test series will be followed by a 3 match ODI Series.
